Entrepreneurship Festival 2025: Jammu has the potential to become an IT hub

Jammu, February 17:

Jammu and Kashmir, which has made its mark in the tourism industry, has now become a state with new possibilities. The campus of IIT Jammu is currently telling a new story of this change. The guests invited to the Entrepreneurship Festival being celebrated here are confident about the possibilities in the changing Jammu and Kashmir, especially seeing immense opportunities in start-ups.

After coming here, that changed and we feel that Jammu has the potential to become an IT hub.

We are thinking of mentoring the youth here. I completed my engineering from Roorkee. I did my MBA from Chicago. After this, I joined an investment company. After some time, I felt that the work that this company can do, I can do that in my company as well. I laid the foundation of Sparrow Capital.

We have invested in 32 companies so far. We are also ready to invest in the startups of the youth of Jammu and give them mentorship. We had heard that there is IIT and AIIMS in Jammu and Kashmir, but we had come with the thought that people are less enthusiastic about working here.
