The festival of Eid Milad-un-Nabi is being celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. On this occasion, religious and social programmes are also being organized at various places in Jammu district. In this episode, water was sprinkled on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi in Malik Market. The organisers distributed cold water as well as various food items for passers-by.
During this time, a large number of people took advantage of Chhabeel. The organisers said that such service works convey the message of brotherhood, humanity and mutual harmony. The initiative, organised on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, was also appreciated by the locals.
