Jammu, November 4:
A heavy army vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Namika La Pass on National Highway-01 in Ladakh on Wednesday, November 4.
In this tragic accident, two soldiers of the Indian Army, including the driver and co-driver, were martyred.
As soon as the incident was reported, the district police and local administration immediately reached the spot. They have launched a rescue and relief operation.
The bodies were then transported to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Chiktan.
A case has been registered at the local police station Wakha and further investigation is underway. Army authorities have expressed deep grief over the loss of two of our brave soldiers in this unfortunate accident.
