Srinagar, July 10:
A woman passenger suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on her way to a cave shrine in Ganderbal.
The CRPF personnel immediately took her to the medical center. Gave her oxygen support and CPR, which saved the passenger’s life.
CRPF personnel saved a 46-year-old woman passenger of the Amarnath Yatra after she suffered cardiac arrest on the way to the cave temple.
The incident took place near Sarbal camp on Baltal route in Ganderbal district.
A senior official said that this woman from Uttar Pradesh and was handled by CRPF personnel deployed on the way.
The official said that after this, she was taken to the Army Hospital Camp in Nilgrath.
The CRPF is providing security to the yatra and has also deployed Mountain Rescue Teams (MRTs) and women’s ‘I Help You’ mobile squads. Their duty is to help the passengers in times of emergency.
