After reviewing the incident with police officials, CM Fadnavis spoke to journalists. He said that the incident of burning the replica of Aurangzeb’s tomb cannot be called an intelligence failure, but there was a need to improve intelligence gathering. Also, Fadnavis, while emphasizing the reasons for the violence, said that this incident happened in the morning, when information was received about burning the replica of Aurangzeb’s tomb. An FIR was registered on this, but people gathered after the rumor spread. He also said that a verse from the Quran was written on the replica.
