Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Britain on Saturday after his US visit. Here he is going to meet the heads of European countries. After a heated debate with President Trump, Zelensky has now made a new tweet. In which his tone seems to have changed.
Zelensky said that America’s help has been crucial to our survival and I want to acknowledge it. Despite difficult negotiations, we remain strategic partners. But we need to be honest and straightforward with each other to truly understand our shared goals.
The Ukrainian President further said that it is very important for us to get the support of President Trump. He wants to end the war. No one wants peace more than us. This is a fight for our freedom and our existence. As President Reagan once said, peace does not mean just the absence of war. A ceasefire with Putin will not work. (Agencies)
