Udhampur, May 3:
The search operation by the security forces to arrest the terrorists in Basantgarh of Udhampur district adjoining Jammu continued for the sixth day on Friday, but no success has been achieved. The area was searched with the help of Army, Police, CRPF, SOG and Dog Squad. The search operation has been intensified by cordoning off the area.
Security forces have cordoned off Kathua, Doda, Dudu and other areas of Basantgarh. Besides, help of helicopters and drones is also being taken in the search operation. With the help of dog squad, the houses of Dhokas and Gujjars built on the hills are being searched. But till now no clue has been found about the terrorists.
All the roads leading into the forest towards Doda, Kathua, Bani, Kishtwar and other places have been sealed. Every aspect is being investigated by the security agencies to arrest the terrorists.
