Udhampur, May 18:
A tragic accident has occurred in Udhampur wherein two youths drowned in Tawi river at Kishanpur-Manwal area.
SDRF, NDRF and Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a search and rescue operation in search of the youth. But till time they could not be traced.
According to the reports, yesterday evening when two youths from Kishanpur area did not reach home at night, the family members started searching for them, during this they saw their phones and clothes on the banks of Tawi river and then guessed that the boys drowned in this river.
The villagers searched extensively, but have not been able to find them yet. Efforts are being made to search continuously since morning, but till now no trace of them has been found.
According to the information, one of the two boys who are missing had joined the BSF army six months ago and had come home for leave just a few days ago. This has created a sensation in Kishanpur area.
