There is hope that the dream of running a train from Kashmir to Kanyakumari will be fulfilled in the new year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can inaugurate this important project any day in January 2025. Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu on Tuesday inspected the world’s highest rail bridge and stations built on Chenab in Reasi district.
After inspecting the railway station built in Gram, Ravneet Singh Bittu said that the target is to complete the remaining work on this ambitious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link project by December. Prime Minister Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav can inaugurate the project anytime in January. While inspecting the Anji bridge, he said, this cable bridge is a wonder of the world. Engineers have done a great job in building the bridge. Prime Minister Modi thinks for the progress of the valley and its people. As per his thinking, this project is in its final stage.
A total of Rs 42,900 crore has been spent on the project. The whole world is looking at this ambitious project. As soon as the train starts running in the valley, India will establish a new dimension in the whole world. This train will bring about a big change not only in tourism but also in business.
