Former deputy mayor and BJP leader Baldev Singh Baloria said the dream of a developed India will be realised through one nation, one election. He was speaking in a programme organised in ward number 56 Gangyal of the city. He said that the implementation of the one nation, one election programme will lead to success in developing the country.
Apart from economic reforms, it will also bring about coordination from a political point of view. As per the strategy, an election is to be held in several phases or simultaneously. Baloria said that this program will not only reduce election expenditure but will also increase political stability. A large amount of money is spent by the government and political parties in continuous elections. By properly implementing the model code of conduct, policy deadlock can be prevented. A large number of voters will be able to participate in the elections. This will also increase the voting percentage.
