Tashi Namgyal, a Ladakhi shepherd who alerted the Indian Army about Pakistani intrusion during 1999 Kargil War, died in Aryan Valley recently. He was 58 years old.
Tashi Namgyal was honoured for his crucial role during the Kargil War in 1999. When he informed the Indian Army about the infiltration of Pakistani troops.
