Srinagar court has made a big decision, has stayed criminal proceedings against SSP

Srinagar, July 15:
A sessions court in Srinagar has granted bail to SSP G.V.

The court on Tuesday stayed the order of a subordinate court to file a criminal case against Sandeep Chakraborty.

The court said that such “questions of consideration” have been raised in the revision petition which need to be considered.

The magistrate court had on July 6 taken suo motu cognizance of the matter and initiated a case against Chakraborty, an IPS officer.

The court had accused them of repeatedly disobeying court orders. However, the SSP of Bandipora Srinagar Does not come under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.

Accepting the criminal revision petition filed by the SSP, the Second Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar stayed the order of the subordinate court with immediate effect.
