Jammu, October 14:
A son from Rathua village, adjacent to the India-Pakistan international border, killed his old mother with a sharp weapon. The police have arrested the accused. A case has been registered against him in Hiranagar police station and action has been initiated.
According to information, Tilakraj, son of Bishan Das, resident of Rathua, lived with his mother Kamalo Devi (80). On Sunday morning, he started quarreling with his mother over some issue. The situation reached such a point that he attacked his mother with a sharp weapon. After getting information from the local people, the police took the injured old woman to the sub-district hospital from where she was referred to GMC Kathua where Kamalo Devi died due to the injuries. The police have registered a case of murder and arrested the accused Tilak Raj and the weapon used in the murder has also been seized. The police have started further action.
