In the biggest action of the Transport Commissioner in Kathua district so far, the registration of 2,000 vehicles is going to be canceled with immediate effect.
For this, the RTO of Kathua has been appointed as the RTO. The Commissioner has given time to take action in two days.
The list of vehicles that have been cancelled is the highest number of commercial vehicles.
This order of the Transport Commissioner has caused a stir among the transporters.
Transport Commissioner Vishesh Pal Mahajan, who visited Kathua on Tuesday, visited the Kathua RTO. The RTO in the office.
The traffic and district police have also been urged to check and take action against vehicles without fitness, passing and without permits.
He also said that with immediate effect, the RTO will be closed.
