Jammu, August 8:
Three vehicles of the SSB collided with each other inside a tunnel near Kela Mor in Ramban district on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Saturday, police said. Three Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel were injured in the accident.
The SSB convoy was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu. At the same time, a vehicle in the convoy inside the tunnel suddenly applied brakes. Two vehicles following it collided with him.
Three SSB personnel sustained injuries in the accident. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway was affected for some time due to the accident. During this time, moderate rain was also occurring in the area. However, after a brief pause, traffic on the highway continued as normal. The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway is the major all-weather route connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country.
