Srinagar, October 21: RSS leader and All India Sampark Chief Ram Lal on Wednesday urged the people of Kashmir to embrace peace, unity and brotherhood, stating that terrorism and violence can neither ensure peace nor bring development.
Addressing reporters in Srinagar, Ram Lal said terrorism and violence had impacted Kashmir’s age-old tradition of communal harmony.
He underscored the region’s rich cultural heritage and the historic coexistence of Sanatani and Sufi traditions.
Appealing to people not to be misled by external forces, he called for unity beyond caste, religion and language. He said that mutual respect and inclusiveness reflect the spirit of India.
