Raids on the houses and hideouts of 18 terrorists and their helpers in Poonch

Jammu, May 19:

Security forces have launched a massive operation on Sunday to dismantle the terrorist network in Poonch district. Several police teams, with the help of Army and SOG, raided the houses of 18 terrorist in the district.

During the search of several houses, electronic equipment as well as objectionable documents have been seized.

These local terrorist handlers are carrying out terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir while sitting in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Police, Special Operation Group (SOG) and Army, led by ASP Mohan Sharma, conducted a search operation in Sawjian Sector and Chambar Kinari area of ​​Mandi Tehsil adjacent to the Line of Control in the district.

While taking action against the local terrorists and their helpers sitting across the Line of Control in the area, their houses and hideouts were searched.

However, no arrests have been made during this operation. Senior police officials said that this action is part of the government’s zero tolerance policy against terrorism.
