A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Panglar village of Khawas tehsil of Rajouri district, where 18-year-old Parveen Akhtar, daughter of Abdul Aziz, died on the way to the hospital for treatment.
According to locals, Parveen was seriously ill and her family was trying to take her to Jammu for better treatment.
However, due to the poor condition of the road leading to the village and the inaccessibility of any vehicle. The family members and villagers had to carry him on a traditional cot for a long distance to reach the nearest motorable road.
Locals allege that the road is in such a bad and slippery condition that no vehicle can reach the village.
He also claimed that Parveen Akhtar succumbed to his injuries near Mathani. Even before the family could reach the vehicle waiting on the main road.
