Jammu, January 31:
In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces continue to crack down on militancy in the jungles of Kishtwar district.
In the early hours of Saturday, an encounter with terrorists started once again in the remote and snowy Dolgam of Chhatra area.
Under Operation Trashi-1, a joint team of the Army’s White Knight Corps, CRPF and police have surrounded the terrorists in this operation.
Three soldiers were injured in the encounter. Two of whom are critical. One terrorist is also reported to have been injured.
This is the fourth encounter with terrorists in the last 15 days. Earlier, encounters were reported in Sonad, Aryagam-Singhpora and Chingam.
According to security sources, this terrorist group is active under the leadership of Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Saifullah. T
he group has been carrying out terrorist activities hiding in this inaccessible area for the last two years and escapes every time under the cover of dense forests and snowfall.
The security forces have tightened the cordon to kill the terrorists. According to sources, the terrorists have been kept in a limited circle. The help of helicopters and drones is being taken to find out their exact location. According to reports, blood stains have been seen in drone surveillance. It is being speculated that at least one terrorist has been injured.
