Kathua, June 3;
Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. R C Kotwal-JKPS in its recent action against drug peddlers and its propagators in the district, today recovered charas like contraband in the JD of PS Rajbagh and accused was arrested. As per press statement issued to mercury times, on 02.06.2021 a Police team led by Insp. Bhopinder Singh SHO P/S Rajbagh under the supervision of SDPO Border Sh. Sachit Mahajan -JKPS during surprise checking duty, apprehended one suspicious person. On physical search approx. 174 grams of Charas like contraband was recovered from the possession of accused namely Lovepreet S/o Sunil Kumar R/o Gota Rua Changi. On this an instant case vide FIR No. 86/2021 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act Stands registered at Police Station Rajbagh and further investigation is under process.
