Srinagar, July 17:
The Delhi Court has allowed jailed Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid to attend the Monsoon Session of Parliament in custody.
Due to which they have been allowed to participate in the proceedings on all sitting days. The Monsoon Session of Parliament will begin on July 20 and conclude on August 13.
The court allowed the application and directed that the Lok Sabha member be taken to Parliament in a police escort. Special Judge (NIA) Prashant Sharma was hearing Er Rashid’s application.
The Awami Ittehad party chief has been granted interim bail and custodial parole on a few occasions in the past.
