Monika Singh DPS: Delhi Public School Junior, Kathua Cultivates Young Minds Through Vegetable Activity for LKG Students

Delhi Public School Junior, Kathua recently organized a vibrant and educational vegetable activity for its LKG students, led by the dedicated class facilitators Mrs. Shobhna Puri, Mrs. Roshika Jasrotia, and Mrs. Shivani Sharma. The activity aimed to educate young minds about the importance of vegetables in their diet and daily lives.
The students, dressed in colourful costumes representing vegetables such as carrots, tomatoes, pumpkin, brinjal, peas etc. captivated the audience with their enthusiastic performances. They spoke confidently about the nutritional benefits and characteristics of their assigned vegetables, showcasing both their knowledge and presentation skills.
The class facilitators, expressed, “It was delightful to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of our young learners as they explored the world of vegetables. Such activities not only make learning fun but also lay a strong foundation for healthy eating habits.”
Principal Mr. Vivek Arora commended the efforts of the teachers and students, stating, “Activities like these are instrumental in broadening the horizons of our students and nurturing a deeper understanding of the world around them. We are proud of our LKG students and their facilitators for their active participation and creativity.”
Mrs. Monika Singh, the School Incharge, emphasized the significance of such activities in early childhood education, saying, “These activities play a pivotal role in holistic development by promoting sensory exploration, vocabulary development, and fostering a positive attitude towards healthy eating.”
