Mehbooba Mufti clarifies Jantar Mantar statement, says – Video is real, I will not call it fake

PDP President Mehbooba Mufti apologized to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for her remarks on Jantar Mantar and said that she had mistakenly missed an important line which changed the context of her statement. He also clarified that the viral video was real and not manipulated by AI.

According to the information, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti expressed regret for her remarks during the protest at Jantar Mantar on Tuesday. She made it clear that she wanted to say “makes an excuse”, but mistakenly said only “makes it”.

Speaking to the media in Srinagar, the former chief minister expressed regret over his remarks made during the Jantar Mantar protest. She said she meant to say “makes an excuse”, but she could only say “it is made”.

He made it clear that he gave bytes to many people there. In one of the bytes, she said that there is militancy and she wanted to say ‘excuses’ but could not utter the word ‘excuse’ in a hurry. They thought they had said it.
The former chief minister further said that the video that is circulating is real. She said she wouldn’t say the video was fake; It’s real.
