Srinagar, May 16:
Politics has once again heated up over the Indus Water Treaty. The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has described this treaty as against the interests of the people of the state. He said that it was a historical betrayal. He said that he has been opposing this treaty from the very beginning.
The Chief Minister said that the real unfortunate thing is not that I am opposing this treaty but that some people accept this injustice in their desire to gain cheap popularity and to please the people sitting across the border.
