Leh, August 22:
A school bus fell into a 200 meter deep gorge here in Durguk area of Leh. As per initial reports said six people have died in this. At the same time, about 19 other people are said to be injured.
After receiving information, the rescue team reached the spot and conducted a rescue operation.
During rescue operation, the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Leh Deputy Commissioner said that the injured have been admitted to Army and CHC Tangtse health care centers.
There were about 25 passengers in the bus, including two children and 23 school employees. The bus was on its way to Durbuk to attend the wedding of an employee when it fell into a deep gorge near Durbuk mode.
