Srinagar, June 17:
Security forces have achieved a major success in Kupwara district of North Kashmir. A terrorist has been arrested in the sub-district Handwara of the district. The terrorist is associated with the banned Hizbul Mujahideen organization and was planning to target soft targets in the area. Police has given this information.
Acting on specific information, a joint team of security forces including Army’s 30RR and Handwara Police launched an operation. During this, the terrorist was arrested. He has been identified as Zakir Hamid Mir.
