Bandipora, November 30: Director Urban Local Bodies Kashmir on Wednesday visits Sumbal Sonawari to take part in the “My Town My Pride programme of Municipal Committee Sumbal under the ambient if Jan Abhiyan Initiative. The event witnessed a mass gathering of local residents, public representatives, traders federation representatives, college and school children besides government employees from different departments. Director took a review of stalls established by different departments and non government organizations and interacts with the people there. SDM Sumbul Dr Bashir Lone was also present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion Director Urban local bodies appeals people to come forward in making towns and cities plastic and polythene free. She also requested public to take part in different schemes of the departments in order to avail the benefits of these schemes including that of Urban Local Bodies.
