Rajouri, August 5:
Today is the sixth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370. On this occasion, a round of demonstrations has started for getting statehood for Jammu and Kashmir.
A protest was organized under the leadership of MLA Thannamandi Muzaffar Iqbal Khan at Ambedkar Park in Rajouri on Wednesday. The protesters raised the demand for restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and restoration of special status.
The speakers said that restoring statehood is an issue related to democratic rights and aspirations of the people. The protest was peaceful, with a large number of party workers and supporters participating and raising slogans in support of their demands.
