Delhi Election Result 2025: Kejriwal, Sisodia and Saurabh Bhardwaj lost

New Delhi, February 8:
Counting of votes began at 8 am amid tight security in the capital. There are 699 candidates in the fray for 70 seats. On February 5, a total of 60.54 percent voting took place at more than 13 thousand booths. Counting centers are also being monitored by observers apart from CCTV.
Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a major setback here. Former CM and AAP candidate Arvind Kejriwal has lost from New Delhi seat. BJP candidate Pravesh Verma has won. Congress had fielded Sandeep Dixit from this seat. Pravesh Verma has defeated Kejriwal by 4089 votes.
Arvind Kejriwal came to power in Delhi by defeating the late former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, who had represented this seat for three consecutive terms, in the 2013 assembly elections. He represented this assembly for three consecutive terms.
AAP candidate Atishi has won the election from Kalkaji seat. She has defeated BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri by 3521 votes. Let us tell you that Kalkaji seat is one of the most talked about seats. This time Aam Aadmi Party has given ticket to Chief Minister Atishi from Kalkaji seat. Congress has fielded former MLA Alka Lamba. Due to these faces, Kalkaji seat has once again become a hot seat. BJP has given ticket to Ramesh Bidhuri from here. Bidhuri, who has been made the candidate from Kalka seat, remains in controversies due to his statements.
AAP candidate Manish Sisodia has lost from Jangpura seat by 675 votes.
BJP’s Kapil Mishra has won from Karawal Nagar Assembly seat . He has defeated Aam Aadmi Party’s Manoj Tyagi by 23355 votes.
