Today in regard to the complains by the locals of DPS lane in ward no. 07 regarding water pipe leakage, Hon’ble Corporator Ritu Choudhary conducted inspection of the concerned lane along with JE PHE Jammu.
During the inspection, Hon’ble Corporator Ritu Choudhary inspected the leakage and directed the JE PHE Jammu to get the damaged pipe either repaired or replaced.
While addressing the media, Corporator Ritu Choudhary said that she had been receiving complaints regarding water leakage since past few days, so today along with JE PHE, she inspected the site of leakage and also directed the JE PHE to get the water pipes repaired or replaced so that the general public has not to suffer of water shortage during this scorching heat and corona pandemic.
In a statement issued to mercury times, the JE PHE Jammu ensured the Hon’ble Corporator that he will get the damaged water pipe repaired within a day so that there are no more leaks in the water pipe.
The locals thanked the hon’ble Corporator Ritu Choudhary and JE PHE for solving their problem of water leakage which had been bothering them since past few days.
They further thanked the Hon’ble Corporator ward 07 for always listening to their complaints and for the fast and intime action against them.
At last, She appealed the general public, not to wander outside needlessly and wear masks and practice social distancing while at a public place as corona cases are on the rise again.
