Jammu, August 7:
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three accused including a Patwari of Halka Sol, Tehsil Katra, District. It is alleged that the Patwari, in connivance with a property dealer and a middleman, demanded a bribe of Rs 40,000 from a complainant. The CBI had registered a case on a complaint against a property dealer resident of village Jib. The accused property dealer was demanding a bribe of five thousand rupees.
Patwari demanded a bribe of Rs 40,000 for issuing the Fard of the property being purchased by the complainant’s father from the property dealer. After the complaint of the victim, the CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red handed. During the trap operation, a middleman was caught. After this, the accused Patwari was also caught taking bribe.
