Jammu & Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party has directed its activists to observe birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and pay floral tributes on portrait of Baba Sahib at their homes, observing all lockdown guidelines.
J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, General Secretaries Sunil Sharma (former Minister) and Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal (former Minister) stated this, at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ashok Kaul, said that every year, on April 14, BJP celebrates the birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar with liveliness and enthusiasm. This year, on Babasaheb’s birth anniversary, due to Covid 19 (corona virus) infection spread and subsequent lockdown, BJP has appealed its cadre as well as common masses to keep the event as simple as possible. So we must help the poor and those hit by the Coronavirus pandemic and pay their tributes to the legend at their own homes, while following all Covid-19 lockdown measures, Kaul added.
Sunil Sharma, said that BJP National President JP Nadda has urged all BJP karyakartas to pay tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary by helping the needy amid the Coronavirus crisis and labeled this move as “Feed the needy”.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina and party General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul have also instructed all the party leaders via Audio-Conferencing to observe the birth Anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar at their homes, while observing all norms of Corona Pandemic Advisory, Sunil Sharma said and added that it has also been conveyed to the party workers to distribute ration kits and face covers as the nation struggles to fight the battle against Coronavirus.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, described Dr. Ambedkar as a mark of humanitarian approach towards all those who were deprived and those who were the sufferers of the bad times. He said that in present scenario, the best tributes can be paid to Baba sahib by approaching and helping all those in need to help them cope with the widespread onslaught of Corona Virus.
