Article 370 removed 6 years old, J&K on high alert; Security increased after the input of the terrorist attack

Srinagar, August 5:
Security has been increased in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the sixth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370.

Police in Kashmir have banned protests without prior permission. Authorities in Jammu have put the area on high alert amid intelligence inputs warning of possible terror attacks.

In Kashmir, the police have issued a public advisory stating that no protest, rally, procession or any other public gathering will be allowed without prior permission.

Tight security arrangements have been made across the valley to maintain law and order.

Security has been beefed up at sensitive places in the valley. Police and other security agencies are keeping a strict vigil to ensure peaceful celebrations on August 5.

Meanwhile, a security cordon has been created in Jammu like never before. Intelligence agencies have warned of possible terrorist attacks in view of the anniversary of Article 370.

According to officials, intelligence inputs have revealed that terrorists may try to target vulnerable areas.
