After Daggar and Juthana villages of Kathua district, now school children in Kasori village adjacent to police post Basantpur falling under Lakhanpur police station area have informed the police about seeing a suspect. On Thursday, Lakhanpur police immediately swung into action and cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
According to the information, when the children of Kasori village of Lakhanpur were going to school in the morning, they saw a stranger on the hill. The children informed this to their family members. The family informed the police about the incident.
After this, the police personnel started a search operation in the forested area spread within a radius of five kilometers. Along with this, the parents of the children were also interrogated.
