Sopore, August 9:
The JKP, with the help of the CRPF conducted simultaneous searches at 26 places in Sopore and adjoining areas on Sunday.
According to officials, the houses of several people suspected to have links with the Bain organization were searched.
The purpose of this operation is to collect evidence, verify the suspected link and trace the network allegedly linked to the case.
Among those whose houses were searched were Nazir Ahmad Mir and Maqbool Mir both residents of Goripora Bomai.
During the searches, the police allegedly found some documents and other items from some places.
The seized items have been taken into custody for further investigation and verification, the officials said.
Officials said that after the verification process is completed.
Further information about the confiscated goods and interrogations is awaited.
