03 days course on “Increasing Menace of Narcotics among Youths-Challenges in Handling and Investigation of NDPS cases, culminated today. (28) officers from various Units of J&K Police participated. The course was designed to analyse various factors responsible for growing drug peddling among different nations as well as to aware the participants about the legal aspects of handling the cases related to Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance. In his valedictory address. Shri Pawan Kumar, Superintendent of Police, SKPA spoke that determining the origin and pathways of drug abuse and addiction is inevitably important. He also called upon the participants to implement the outcomes of training in the field to control the menace of narcotics which has significant impact on Social fabric. The audience was informed that organising such course for capacity building is the vision of our DGP and unrelenting efforts of Director SKPA. The valediction was attended by Shri Tahir Hussain, Dy.SP, AD (Indoor) and Shri Tarseem Lal Inspr. Course Secretary.
