Jammu, August 12:
Yudhvir Sethi, Vice President BJP J&K unit on Thursday condemned terrorist attack on BSF convoy in Kulgam’s Mir Bazaar area and said that such acts show frustration of subversives who are on run as the terrorism is on last leg in Valley.
Lauding the security forces for their phenomenal hold on the situation, Sethi made it clear that the days of terror mongers in the UT of J&K are numbered as security forces are already on job to eliminate all of them and free the region from the curse of death and destruction.
The senior BJP leader was chairing a meeting of BJP East Mandal to motivate the party cadre for working with zeal and zest to strengthen the party at grassroots level and also to mobilize BJP activists in disseminating ideology and policies of the party among the masses. Anju Dogra, State Secretary; Parveen Kerni Mandal President, Anil Masoom Vistrak, Rajinder Gupta Mandal General Secretary, Mandal office bearers, Shakti Kendra Parmukh and Mandal Morcha Presidents were also present during the meeting.
Sethi said that the onus of making the party strong lies completely on grassroots level workers as they are the inspiration of the organization. He said that BJP has the history of rendering selfless service to people without any discrimination on the basis of caste, colour or creed and therefore party cadre should ensure that this virtue of the party remains intact and people of all hues and shades come under the party fold without any hesitation or apprehensions.
The senior BJP leader discussed in detail the comprehensive strategy to make BJP a strong force to reckon with in the region. He said that the first and foremost priority of every party activist should be to make people aware about the policies and achievements of the Modi government, especially with regard to freedom of J&K from the clutches of Article 370 and its complete integration with dominion of India. He said that elections are round the corner and it is the time to make people understand the benefits of BJP in power in the UT or else hard work done by PM Modi led government will go in vain if those supporting anti-India forces will be allowed to rein the UT again.
Sethi stressed that the simple rule to ensure victory of BJP in J&K is to honestly disseminate information about its policies and schemes among masses because no other entity has so much to offer. He said that no one can stop BJP from coming to power in J&K if the strong brigade of party activists continues to work for the party with solidarity and dedication.
Anju Dogra, State Secretary appealed to the party cadre to remain united and rely on BJP’s prolific policies which have satiated people’s aspirations to a large extent and sooner the rest of the demands will also be fulfilled but for this public’s support in polls is a must.
