Live For Others – Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) collaborated with Block Development Office, Miran Sahib, Organises a 3-Day Free Medical Camp. This camp is supposed by TALLA JEWELLERS, Government Medical College, Jammu, Government Dental Hospital, Ambphalla, and Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu under the supervision of Mr. Vivek Parihar, CEO & Founder.
The inauguration of the three-day medical camp took place on August 7th, Monday and was inaugurated by SDM Seema Parihar, BDO Gurjeet Singh, Panchayat Secretary Narinder Kumar Malhotra who kicked off the camp at Darsopur, Miran Sahib.
Day 1 of the camp included an eye check-up session, along with a comprehensive awareness program highlighting the importance of Eye Flu prevention and Eye-Care in which the count of beneficiaries were 250.
In a statement issued to mercury times, during a conversation with Mr. Vivek Parihar, CEO & Director of LFO-BHF (NGO) said passionately emphasized the significant role of proper eye care in maintaining overall health and well-being. He highlighted the importance of regular eye check-ups and raised awareness about the potential risks of eye flu. Mr. Parihar also stressed the need for community initiatives like the Free Medical Camp to ensure that essential healthcare services reach every corner of society, promoting a brighter and healthier future for all.
Mr.Abhishek Raina said, it Is an effort to engage and involve the local community, a painting competition was organised on the theme of “SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN”, which was sponsered by STUDY CENTER where 20 students showcased their creativity and artistic talent. The competition provided a platform for the youth to express their ideas and aspirations while promoting a culture of health and well-being.
Volunteers who participated were Abhishek Raina, Stuti Abrol, Navya Verma, Sachin Jandyal and many more.
