When will North India’s first Oceanarium open in Jammu?

Jammu, June 23:
The work of opening North India’s first oceanarium, which is under construction at Bagh-e-Bahu has now reached the final stage. This ambitious project, being developed at a cost of about Rs 19 crore. It will establish a new identity in the field of tourism and education in Jammu and Kashmir.
The process of procurement and installation of marine fish is underway in this oceanarium. It is being developed under the Jammu Smart City Mission.

According to officials, most of the construction and technical works have been completed.

Officials say that the oceanarium will be opened to the general public by the last week of July or August. Once all the procedures are completed in a time-bound manner.
