Jammu, April 29:
President Sainik Samaj Party UT of J&K, Colonel SS Pathania, Sharaya Chakra, urged the veterans of all security forces to join the war against corona virus to give much needed support and impetus to the ongoing efforts of the government and frontline warriors. He said the meticulous track record, battle hardiness and experience of these veterans in dealing with unexpected situations and pressure during their service will act as an effort multiplier for the civil administration and everyone else fighting against invisible enemy.
There is large scope for such a well trained, disciplined and time tested source to be utilized by the administration for tasks like assisting the government efforts in implementation of its directive and directions, encouraging the asymptomatic people to report to the hospitals, assisting police and other deptt in surprise checks, audits and establishing road nakks along with the police. Supply chain management of essential medicines, food supply and management and security of NH and connected traffic, are other specific areas these security forces veterans are very apt at. It is for the government to tap such readily available resource to further supplement the ongoing war. He expressed his party’s desire to see our state free of monster like Covid-19 sooner than later. The gainful utilization of such a resource will only hasten up the victory over virus. Jai Hind
