Jammu, July 25:
After the death of the youth killed in cross firing, GMC hospital of Jammu was converted into a cantonment. On hearing the news of death, the family and a large number of relatives reached GMC. As soon as they reached, the family started creating ruckus. They were shouting slogans against the police and demanded justice. They alleged that the police had killed the youth Parvez in a fake manner. When they became agitated, heavy police force was deployed. As soon as the family reached the hospital, they tried to enter the emergency.
The tension remained till late night. Finally, the board of doctors conducted the post-mortem late at night. The body will be handed over to the family on Friday morning.
The deceased Parvez’s brother Mohd Farooq says that Parvez had left home at 4 pm on Thursday.
At 6 pm, he received a call from the Mandal police station that Parvez had died after being shot. Gujjar leader Talib Hussain arrived at GMC. Talib accused the police and asked, how long will the police keep doing fake encounters?
He said police should have registered a case against him before killing him.
