People’s Democratic Party President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said on Monday that the way Indians had united against the British for independence, if the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir unite in the same way, then no one from the world to get them back the special status. She said that the aim of the PDP is only to resolve the Kashmir issue. Our identity and our existence, our everything is at stake right now. It is not just about Article 370 and 35A, it is about Jammu and Kashmir issue, our target is changing.
Mehbooba Mufti, while talking to reporters after announcing that senior Supreme Court advocate Syed Iqbal Tahir would join PDP at the party headquarters here today, hinted at the central government and the BJP, saying that she felt people were forgetting the basic issue. Will go, will only talk about Article 370. The Kashmir issue cannot be invoked, nor will the mention of Article 370 stop. Restoration of Article 370 will happen if not today then tomorrow, if not tomorrow then the day after tomorrow. Along with this, PDP will continue its efforts to solve the Kashmir problem. Mehbooba Mufti said that the BJP-led central government at the center abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir by abrogating Article 370 on August 5, 2019. Jammu and Kashmir was divided into two union territories. He said that our identity and our culture have been attacked. If the people of Jammu and Kashmir unite, we can achieve more than restoration of the special status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
