Jammu, February 24:
A road accident took place on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway near Sidco Chowk in Samba on Tuesday afternoon.
The speeding car suddenly overturned, injuring two occupants.
According to the information, the devotees in the car bowed their heads at Baba Badbhag Singh Deo Sthan in Himachal Pradesh and was returning. As soon as their vehicle reached near Sidco Chowk. The driver could not control the vehicle and the car overturned on the roadside.
After the accident, there was chaos on the spot.
Locals immediately shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both the injured are from RS Pura. According to doctors, the condition of both of them is stable now and they are out of danger.
It is worth mentioning that there have been many accidents at Sidco Chowk in the past. Due to which this place is becoming an accident-prone area. Locals have demanded the administration to strengthen the traffic system and control the speed of vehicles so that such accidents can be prevented in the future.
