Jammu, May 4:
During the Lok Sabha election campaign in Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference President and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Modi is trying to create fear among Hindus. Because when he came in 2014, he used to raise the issue of the price of LPG. At that time its price was Rs 400.
But today the issue of inflation and unemployment is missing. Ten years have passed and now you see what the price of a gas cylinder is. It is now Rs 1100. Diesel prices have increased. The prices of cooking oil have increased, vegetables, mutton etc. everything has become expensive.
Further said that they have installed smart meters which work even when there is no electricity. To create fear among Hindus they are telling them that your Mangalsutra will be snatched away and sold to give money to Muslims. Are we so oppressed that we will snatch the Mangalsutra from our mothers and sisters? Farooq Abdullah said that I give it in writing with my blood that terrorism cannot end unless there are talks with Pakistan.
