Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Nagrota a premier educational institution committed to environmental conservation, took a significant step towards preserving the planets green cover by organising a highly successful tree plantation drive. Zonal President AWWA aimed to raise awareness about the importance of afforestation and instill a sense of responsibility towards nature among the students and staff.
Under the guidance of School Principal Mrs Rajini Bala, the tree plantation drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, members and inspiring speech by Zonal President AWWA emphasising the need for sustainable environmental practices and the pivotal role played by educational institutions on shaping young minds to become responsible global citizens.
Amidst a serene backdrop of lush greenery, over 200 saplings were carefully planted, comprising a diverse range of indigenous species. The school’s commitment to environmental conservation is commendable and serves as a beacon of hope for future generations.
