Jammu, November 19:
Thieves broke into an empty house in Jeevan Nagar area of Satwari in Jammu and stole Rs 50,000. The woman has lodged a complaint in the police station that she had gone to the temple with her family to pay obeisance, and when they returned, they saw that the house had been robbed.
The woman told that she was saving money for her elder son to go to Dubai. In the last few months, she had worked hard and saved a certain amount, out of which 50 thousand rupees were kept in the house. That money was also kept in the temple of the house, but the thieves somehow stole that money too.
The woman says that she is deeply shocked by this theft, as this money was saved for her son’s future. She has requested the police to catch the accused and punish them as soon as possible. Satwari police has registered a case and started investigating the theft incident. The police team inspected the spot and started searching for the thieves in the surrounding areas.
Locals are upset by this incident and are expressing concern about security. People believe that such incidents are increasing in a busy area like Satwari, and now the time has come for the police to intensify their action. Police officials say that the accused will be traced soon and appropriate action will be taken in this case.
