‘The more they screamed, the more they were shot’: The story of the Reasi attack in the words of eyewitnesses

Jammu, June 10:

The horrific scene is still clearly visible on the faces of the injured in the Reasi terror attack.

Some injured shared their stories that how they realises the attack. A resident of Gonda in Uttar Pradesh, says that the terrorists probably wanted to enter the bus and kill everyone. It was good that the bus fell into a ditch. Otherwise, if the terrorists had entered the bus, they would not have left anyone alive. They were firing more bullets after hearing the screams of the passengers. Firing on the bus continued for about 15 minutes.

A resident of Uttar Pradesh told that my wife and I were sitting on the front door seat of the bus. Suddenly the glass in front of the bus broke. Before we could understand anything, sounds like sparks started coming from all around. These sounds were of glass breaking all around the bus.

Many passengers started pleading for help. As soon as the screaming started, bullets started firing from outside. Some passengers sitting in the bus signaled each other to keep quiet, then the firing stopped for two minutes. Meanwhile the bus started shaking and the passengers started screaming again. Then the firing started again from outside.
