The message of ‘Yoga’ echoed on the banks of Dal Lake, LG called the balance mantra of life

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday participated in the International Yoga Day celebrations at the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar. He expressed happiness over the overwhelming participation of the people in Jammu and Kashmir. He described Yoga as a force that unites the world and leads humanity towards a healthier and happier future.

Addressing the participants, the Lt Governor said that it was great to see tremendous enthusiasm among all kinds of people for the International Day of Yoga. He said that Yoga has emerged as a global movement for well-being and interpersonal harmony.
Interacting with citizens, youth, officials and fitness enthusiasts at Dal Lake, the Lt Governor emphasised that true wellness comes from the balance of body, mind and emotions. He said that in today’s fast-paced world, where people are constantly distracted by screens, technology and stress, Yoga shows the way to self-awareness, mental peace and stay completely healthy.

Emphasizing on the growing global recognition of Yoga, Manoj Sinha expressed pride that this age-old Indian tradition is becoming the basis of global health and wellness. He said that Yoga not only strengthens physical fitness but also promotes mental flexibility, emotional stability and spiritual growth.
