Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Friday asserted that the frequent terrorist attacks ahead of PM Narendra Modi’s rally cannot deter the people from being part of the gathering at Samba’s Palli village.
In a statement issued here to mercury times, after the Friday attack on CISF bus in which an ASI gave supreme sacrifice, the BJP stalwart said that bankrupt Pakistan wanted to destabilize India but brave soldiers of the country will never allow that rogue nation to realize its nefarious designs.
Expressing grief over the sacrifice of the deceased security personnel, Kavinder said that the sacrifice of the brave-heart will not go in vain as the country will avenge his martyrdom by giving a befitting reply to Pakistan at the right time. Straightaway accusing Pakistan of frequent attacks on security forces and the civilians in the UT, he said that politically unstable and morally unscrupulous Pakistan wants to dent India through such tactics but being the strong nation with nationalist population the unprincipled neighbour can do no harm to the country.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta along with Ravinder Raina, President BJP J&K and Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta visited Government Medical Colleges and met the security personnel who received injuries in the terrorists attack and asked about their welfare.
Kavinder asked the hospital administration to provide the best treatment available in the UT.
He said that such incidents make people more resolute about duty towards their nation and therefore the upcoming rally of PM Modi will now get an even better response after this ill-conceived attempt to disrupt the same.
