Hailstorm causes ruin in Rafiabad

Late afternoon hailstorm hits Rafiabad and its adjacent areas, which cause massive damage to the orchards and destroyed completely Apple, standing and other fruit crops.
In a statement issued by Democratic progressive Azad party State Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Tasleema Akhter said that the fruit growers as well as farmers were already in distress due to earlier loss in crops.The unprecedented hailstorm has resulted a huge loss in Rafiabad
Tasleema Akhter urged LG Manoj Sinha,District administration and Director horticulture, to assess the losses and senction sufficient compensation to affected fruit growers and farmers, as it was the only source of livelihood for them.
